Log off and meet your neighbors

Arrived home today to find a group in a circle on the green space in front of my condo practicing Tae Kwon Do. Their teacher looked good and friendly for a TKD instructor (they are often very harsh).

After a snack I went out to watch from the side .... they invited me in to the group . Very friendly bunch. It's a casual class and they say it's their second class so as one said "you should not be far behind us"

I may keep doing this if I get home in time. Obviously I'm not about to change styles or teachers but the stretching was great, a little bit yoga and work on speed/power can't hurt. I'll have to be very careful as I can't do some of the kicks but when we did punching and block drills I saw the teacher nod "oh, you've done something like this before".

Seems a good way to meet the neighbors anyway. So often we are hidden logged onto our computers, watching the tube.

Log off the d@ng computer, get outside and meet your neighbors (after you read my blog of course).  Pictured above is my favorite way to unwind and get outside, my road bike.
